New England Patriots running backs Brandon Bolden and James White will have to fill a void left behind by running back Dion Lewis. Lewis left Sunday's game with a knee injury. He was ruled out for the season with a torn ACL on Monday.
Brandon Bolden, James White become hot waiver grabs with Dion Lewis out for season
Brandon Boldin and James White will have to step up in New England. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Bolden filled in for Lewis during the third quarter of Sunday's game and finished with one carry for 12 yards, but added three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown to his day. With Bolden serving as more of a change-of-pace back, the Patriots didn't need him much with a comfortable lead over Washington. White is expected to factor into the team's game plan moving forward. Running back LeGarrette Blount should see a boost in carries as well.
Fantasy impact: Bolden played well with Lewis off the field, but there’s no telling who will take over Lewis’ role. It’s very possible that both Bolden and White are part of a committee down the stretch. On top of all of this, Blount should see a noticeable increase in opportunities. Still, Bolden and White should be picked up in all formats. It may be worth waiting a week to see which running back delivers more fantasy value, if any. However, Bolden may get another crack at a significant snap count if Week 9 holds any weight in the decision.
