Atlanta Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme was once again heavily involved on offense in Week 9. Tamme saw 10 targets, catching six of them for 61 yards in the team's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Through two games, Tamme has 16 receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown. His recent surge in production may be due to the fact that wide receiver Leonard Hankerson has been sidelined since Week 7 with a hamstring injury. It remains to be seen how much Tamme will be involved when Hankerson returns. The Falcons head into their bye week before facing the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.
Jacob Tamme sees 10 targets in Week 9, available on many waiver wires
Jacob Tamme continues to see a lot of targets. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Tamme didn’t post overly impressive numbers like we saw in Week 8, but his 10 targets indicate that he’s still a very instrumental part of the team’s offense. Tamme should be considered a fringe TE1 for now. Hankerson’s return will be the true test of Tamme’s value down the stretch, of course. He’s available in 74 percent of Yahoo! leagues as of Monday.
