Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) has been ruled out for the team's Week 14 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Lynch was recently cleared to begin rehab but doesn't appear close to be ready even to practice. Rookie Thomas Rawls will continue to hold down the fort as the team's starter.
Marshawn Lynch injury update: RB ruled out for Seahawks, fantasy owners
The Seattle Seahawks’ running back has been ruled out for Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Impressive rookie Rawls has been a force as the team’s starter, and Lynch owners who handcuffed him when they could have hardly seen a drop in production. In six games as the workhorse back, he’s averaging 21 carries for 118.7 yards and has found the end zone five times in that span, once through the air. While there’s plenty of room for him to improve as a receiver, Rawls has proven that he can come up big in any given week. He’ll have to deal with a stout Ravens run defense this week that allows the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs but remains a rock-solid RB1.
