The New England Patriots are in a strange spot with personnel, so it’s tough for projecting their players. Tight end Rob Gronkowski dominates the passing game and he’s also a red-zone monster.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 14: LeGarrette Blount should be busy
LeGarrette Blount wasn’t a big factor last week, but that could change for fantasy owners this week.

Gronkowski did travel to Houston for Sunday night’s game, so he has a decent chance to play for that one. There are also some reports of him playing, but it really doesn’t mean much.
If Gronk can play, that makes guys like running back LeGarrette Blount less appealing to a degree. Blount is coming off a really bad game last week with 54 yards on 13 carries. The Patriots had to play from behind, so that changed their strategy.
That shouldn’t be the case this week as they take on the Houston Texans, who are the 15th-best matchup for fantasy running backs.
Fantasy impact: You have to start him in a standard league this week and he’s a solid RB2 in PPR.
