Kansas City Chiefs receiver Jeremy Maclin had his best two games of the season coming into this week. He scored twice with 95 yards against the Raiders last week and a 160-yard, one-score game against the Buffalo Bills two weeks ago.
Fantasy Fantasy football start/sit, Week 14: Jeremy Maclin has a tough matchup
Jeremy Maclin has been hit or miss this season. Which one should fantasy owners expect this week?
This week, he gets a bad matchup against the San Diego Chargers. Maclin had one of his worst games of the season against the Chargers in Week 11, catching just three passes for 29 yards. That game was in San Diego, but the Chargers' defense has fared well on the road. They're the No. 5 defense against receivers this year and have great success against WR1s.
Fantasy impact: Maclin is not a must-start player in standard leagues, but he should get enough targets and catches to use as a WR2 in PPR formats. If you think you’re an underdog this week, Maclin’s somewhat lower upside makes him a tough guy to start.
