Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews popped up on the injury report Saturday. He had a back injury in practice and obviously the late questionable tag doesn't bode well for him being 100 percent against the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Fantasy football start/sit, Week 14: Jordan Matthews should be benched
Jordan Matthews has been a big bust this year. Should fantasy owners count on him in crunch time?
It’s too bad because Matthews was actually getting it going. He scored touchdowns in back-to-back games coming into this week. Plus, he has a home game this week in a favorable matchup. The Bills are the 25th-ranked defense against receivers on the season. They’ve also been trending down, so they’re one of the five most favorable matchups for receivers.
If Matthews doesn't go, it'll likely be a chance for Nelson Agholor and Josh Huff to put up better numbers.
Fantasy impact: This situation is something to avoid. The Eagles are a fiasco on offense right now, so Matthews isn’t even really a WR3 this week. The injury on top of it makes him close to a must-bench guy.
