Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller entered Sunday's game as the team's starting tight end. The team placed tight end Martellus Bennett on injured reserve with a rib injury, ending his season. Miller embraced his starting role, catching 5 of 6 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown against Washington. Miller's role was already increasing after his incredible Week 9 touchdown catch. With Bennett out for the season, Miller figures to have a much bigger presence down the stretch.
Zach Miller steps up in absence of Martellus Bennett, becomes TE to own on wavier wire
Zach Miller is the clear cut TE1 in Chicago. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Miller was third on the team in targets for Week 14. He now has five touchdowns through six weeks. When Bennett was sidelined in Week 12, Miller caught just two passes for 10 yards and a touchdown. However, he was targeted seven times in that game. It’s difficult to prepare for Miller’s floor over the final weeks of the season, but it’s reasonable to assume the targets will be there. Miller may be the best tight end available on your waiver wire during the fantasy playoffs. He can be plugged in as a solid TE1 over the next few weeks.
