UPDATE (1:28 p.m., ET): Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will not play on Sunday, despite returning to practice, according to Fox 59’s Mike Chappell.
Andrew Luck practicing Wednesday, but will sit Sunday for Colts, fantasy owners
The Colts’ franchise quarterback returned to practice for the first time in six weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is practicing Wednesday, according to Zak Keefer of Indy Star. It marks the first practice for Luck since Nov. 6, as the Colts' signal caller has spent the last six weeks recovering from a lacerated kidney.
Owner Jim Irsay had said that he expected Luck to return for Week 15, but more recent reports expressed pessimism regarding his status. For now, Luck is on track to return to action against the Houston Texans in a game that could decide the AFC South.
Fantasy impact: The timing could not be better for the Colts to get Luck back under center with such an important game on the horizon, and also with Matt Hasselbeck uncertain to suit up on Sunday. If he plays, he will face a revitalized Houston Texans defense, although the game script could be in Luck's favor with T.J. Yates tasked to move the Texans' offense.
Fantasy owners are within reason to find it difficult to trust Luck due to the down year he has had, but upside presents itself in Week 15. He can be considered a boom-or-bust, low-end QB1 if he takes the field.
