Brian Hoyer injury update: QB out for Texans, fantasy owners
The Houston Texans’ quarterback has been ruled out for Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Yates has only played one complete game this year back in Week 11. He played fairly well for fantasy purposes, finishing the game with 229 yards passing, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a lost fumble. He has a career completion percentage of 58.1 and a total of seven touchdowns (one on the ground) and seven interceptions. Yates will have a decent matchup in the Colts. Their defense allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Texans are likely to lean heavily on the run game to take pressure off of their backup. All things considered, owners in need of a quarterback can likely do better on the waiver wire.
