Seattle Seahawks running back Christine Michael rose from the shadows of the team's depth chart to lead the team in carries in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns. Michael was listed as the team's RB3 behind Bryce Brown and Fred Jackson. He finished with a team-high 16 carries for 84 yards. He didn't see any targets in the passing game. With running back Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) still sidelined, it's very possible that Michael heads into Week 16 as the team's starter.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 16: Christine Michael finally emerges
Christine Michael finally saw some meaningful snaps and finally delivered results. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Michael has been a fantasy mirage for the 2015 season. After being traded to the Dallas Cowboys, many believed Michael would emerge as the team's RB1 with Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden failing to set themselves apart early in the season. Michael never earned a meaningful role on the team's offense and was waived in November. He was picked up by Washington and bounced back to the Seahawks on Wednesday, which makes his contributions on Sunday all the more impressive.
Fantasy owners may finally see a return on their investment if they're in need of RB help for Week 16. Michael is still difficult to trust, but he's done enough to earn more opportunities on the field. Consider Michael a strong flex option if he gets the starting job against the St. Louis Rams.
