Dallas Cowboys quarterback Kellen Moore has been announced as the team's starting quarterback for Week 16 against the Buffalo Bills, according to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Kellen Moore will start for Cowboys on Sunday, will remain on fantasy waivers
The Cowboys will start their fourth different quarterback on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. We break down the fantasy implications.

Moore entered his first NFL action of the season in Week 15 after Matt Cassel was reeled in from a short leash given to him by Cowboys brass, and will continue his presence in the huddle. With the Cowboys sitting at 4-10, but somehow entering their first week of being eliminated from playoff contention, they are now in evaluation mode. There’s no reason to not assess their young talent, and Moore will be the focal point of that assessment.
Fantasy impact: The Bills defense is a shell of what it used to be at the beginning of the season, especially with Stephon Gilmore out of action. Moore did not play particularly well coming off of the bench, and will have his work cut out for him even against an opponent that has also been eliminated from playoff contention.
Moore would be a low-end QB2 for Sunday’s slate of games, and fantasy owners who have stock in the Cowboys offense should not expect much of a drop off, if any, from Cassel’s production.
