It appears as though Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's absence will extend another week. The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta took to social media to report that Lynch will not practice this week.
Marshawn Lynch injury update: Seahawks RB won’t practice this week, fantasy owners can rule out Week 16
Marshawn Lynch won’t be back in Week 16. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

That leaves the possibility of a Week 17 return, but there is little information to suggest that Lynch will return in the regular season at this point. Lynch hasn't seen the field since Week 10. He underwent sports hernia surgery in November and the hope is that Lynch is back for a postseason run. Christine Michael, Bryce Brown, and Fred Jackson are expected to handle backfield duties until Lynch returns.
Fantasy impact: For most fantasy owners, the news puts an end to any possibility of getting use out of Lynch this season. With most fantasy leagues ending before Week 17, there’s no reason for Lynch to be rostered in re-draft leagues. Michael is the only running back worth owning in Seattle for the time being. He’ll be a flex option in Week 16.
