New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be evaluated "day-by-day," according to Katherine Terrell of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Drew Brees is day-to-day, per report; fantasy status unclear for Sunday
It is not yet known if Drew Brees will suit up for the Saints on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brees suffered a torn plantar fascia in Sunday night's loss to the Detroit Lions, but still produced despite the injury, finding the end zone three times and passing for 341 yards. Despite being in a walking boot earlier in the week, it seems that the Saints are leaning toward getting Brees into action if possible, despite the team being eliminated for playoff contention.
Fantasy impact: It would be a tough pill to swallow for fantasy owners if Brees sits against a bottom-tier Jacksonville Jaguars defense, and Week 16's matchup has all the makings of a shootout between capable offenses and dreadful defensive units. Throughout the week, fantasy owners must remain glued to practice reports, as Brees looks like a true questionable going into Sunday's slate of games.
Brees would be a high-end QB1 if he is able to suit up for Sunday's matchup, but Matt Flynn would be a middling QB2 at best if he is forced into action.
