Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler will start on Monday against the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced.
Brock Osweiler will start Week 16, presents low fantasy value
The Broncos will turn to Brock Osweiler once again on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

After back-to-back performances with stellar first halves and disastrous second halves, the Broncos have dropped two straight games with Osweiler at the helm, leaving many to wonder if they would turn back to Peyton Manning. Manning, however, will continue to rehab from a torn plantar fascia, and Osweiler will get the nod once again. Week 17, however, could pose a different scenario, and the Broncos’ quarterback situation can be considered a fluid one.
Fantasy impact: Despite the awful second half, fantasy owners with stock in the Broncos offense were gifted a welcome performance from Osweiler, who helped Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders put up robust fantasy numbers in the same game. The Bengals will pose a much more difficult challenge than the Steelers secondary did, and fantasy owners may have to temper any high expectations they have for the Broncos offense.
Osweiler remains a mid-tier QB2, and should only be considered in deep leagues. Fantasy owners who have made it to championship week likely have much better options to go with.
