Dez Bryant injury update: WR inactive for Cowboys, fantasy owners
The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver is inactive for Week 16. We break down the fantasy implications.
With Bryant dealing with severe pain in his foot, there is a real possibility that Bryant has played his last down of the 2015 season.
Fantasy implications: One could make the argument that this actually makes things easier on fantasy owners. While Bryant remains one of the league's elite wide receiver talents, his consistency simply hasn't been there with the revolving door at quarterback of journeymen Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel and now Kellen More.
Bryant’s touchdown down in Week 15 marked the first time he found the end zone in four weeks and he’s been averaging 44.1 yards receiving since his return in Week 8.
Fantasy owners should simply consider this a lost season for Bryant, but be sure not to hold a grudge come next year. Health is the only factor that could prevent he and Tony Romo from returning to their respective WR1/QB1 statuses.
