Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Brandon Weeden will start in place of Hoyer, who is still dealing with a concussion sustained in Week 14 against the New England Patriots. Weeden filled in for an injured T.J. Yates in Week 15, completing 11-of-18 passes for 105 yards in a win over the Colts. The Titans present a very beatable defense for Weeden.
Brian Hoyer injury update: Texans QB is inactive, makes for risky fantasy situation in Houston
Brian Hoyer will miss another week. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: It's a disappointing development for Hoyer owners. His match up in Week 16 would have catapulted him into the QB1 conversation against a Tennessee defense that has been in a free fall down the stretch. Weeden is no consolation. His presence will diminish his surrounding talent. Receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Nate Washington, in particular, will lose some edge and likely see less red zone opportunities. Hopkins should still see plenty of targets. He'll be a low-end WR1 that will need to create opportunities after the catch to keep fantasy owners afloat. Washington will be more of a WR4 with plenty of upside against a soft Tennessee secondary.
