Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller proved to be quarterback Jay Cutler's favorite target in the absence of receiver Alshon Jeffery. Miller caught 7 of 8 targets for 69 yards in the team's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Miller's eight targets led the team. Jeffery is still nursing a hamstring injury and is questionable to play for Week 17. He was unable to practice before Sunday's game. Miller would be in line for another big day if Jeffery can't suit up against the Detroit Lions in the regular season finale.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 17: Zach Miller leads team in targets vs. Buccaneers
Zach Miller led the Bears in targets and receptions in Week 16. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Miller is owned in just 37 percent of Yahoo! leagues. His ownership should increase significantly heading into Week 17, especially if Jeffery can’t get back to full health. For fantasy owners progressing into the final week of the NFL regular season, Miller makes for a solid TE1 option if needed. Cutler doesn’t have many other reliable options in the passing game, and the Lions are among the top 10 teams in fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends.
