Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is expected to play on Sunday against the New England Patriots, according to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
Ryan Tannehill ‘day-to-day,’ should remain on fantasy benches if active
The Dolphins quarterback is banged up, but may start on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Interim coach Dan Campbell said this on Monday, and it appears Tannehill is expected to finish the season under center instead of on the sidelines despite multiple injuries. Tannehill reportedly discovered blood in his urine in the days leading up to Week 16's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and also had his left leg heavily wrapped after the game.
Fantasy impact: In a meaningless game, the Dolphins don’t have any reason to push Tannehill if he is in severe pain, but Campbell’s optimism indicates that there is a chance he will be fine. Despite having several weapons around him, Tannehill has been a bust for fantasy owners this season, and it isn’t likely that a fantasy championship is dependent on his availability.
Tannehill should be relegated to benches and waivers in all formats for Week 17, as would backup Matt Moore if he was to get the starting nod.
