Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns (concussion, foot, thigh) has been ruled out for the team's Week 13 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Hurns did not participate in practice any day this week and never had a realistic shot at suiting up on Sunday.
Allen Hurns injury update: WR ruled out for Jaguars, fantasy owners
The Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver has been ruled out for Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: After scoring in seven consecutive weeks, Hurns' sophomore season has officially hit a rough patch. While he was still targeted nine times last week, the injury he sustained in the middle of the fourth quarter appeared to be fairly serious. In a head-first diving attempt gone horribly wrong, Hurns had to be removed from the field on a stretcher and the medical staff had to stabilize his neck before taking him to the hospital. He finished with four receptions for 42 yards. While his usage will remain high when he returns in the next week or two, Allen Robinson and Julius Thomas project as the primary beneficiaries of Hurns' absence. Marqise Lee will take over for Hurns but shouldn't be considered in any format.
