Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Eifert is dealing with a pinched nerve in his back. The injury took him out of the game in Week 12. Since then, Eifert hasn't been able to practice. Rookie tight end Tyler Kroft should see the biggest workload of his young career. Ryan Hewitt is another tight end who will likely be asked to contribute in a bigger role. Hewitt has handled more of a fullback role this season, but he'll likely be used in a number of ways on Sunday afternoon. Eifert has a chance at returning in Week 14.
Tyler Eifert injury update: Bengals TE officially inactive for fantasy owners
Tyler Eifert will miss out on Week 13. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Eifert’s absence is a huge blow to fantasy owners. Eifert has been a breakout TE in 2015 and currently leads the league with 12 touchdowns. Kroft and Hewitt won’t have much fantasy impact. Kroft saw his first NFL reception in Week 12. Hewitt will be asked to play a number of roles on offense, and will likely be used as a blocker more than anything else. Fantasy owners will have to turn elsewhere and hope for a quick recovery for Eifert as we head into the fantasy playoffs.
