New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is officially active for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Amendola sprained his knee in Week 11. He managed a limited week of practice heading into Sunday's game. It appears as though he avoided any setbacks during pregame warmups. He's expected to see a lot of targets with tight end Rob Gronkowski (knee) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) inactive. Wide receiver Brandon LaFell and tight end Scott Chandler will both be expected to contribute on offense.
Danny Amendola injury update: Patriots WR is active for fantasy owners
Danny Amendola will take the field in Week 13. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Even if Amendola isn’t 100 percent healthy, the matchup is too good to pass up. The Eagles are giving up the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. With Gronkowski and Edelman out, Amendola is primed for a big day. Fantasy owners who were patient and waited for Amendola’s late-afternoon status are likely to be rewarded. He’s a WR2 with major upside in PPR formats.
