New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is officially active for the team's game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Ingram has been dealing with a shoulder injury. He was able to practice in full leading up to Sunday's game, so his active status was expected. Ingram hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 7. He hasn't eclipsed 100 all-purpose yards since Week 8. He'll now face a Carolina run defense that is tied for second place in limiting rushing yards to the opposition.
Mark Ingram injury update: Saints RB is active for fantasy owners
Mark Ingram will suit up, as expected. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Carolina’s defense will be a challenge for Ingram, but his usage as a receiver out of the backfield will likely keep his fantasy production afloat. Ingram has averaged 5.5 receptions over the past four weeks. He’ll be a high-end RB2 with additional upside in PPR scoring formats. The SB Nation fantasy staff has Ingram ranked as its consensus 14th overall running back for Week 13. Ingram will continue to be a borderline RB1 down the stretch during fantasy playoffs.
