Houston Texans running back Chris Polk led the team's backfield in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills. Polk carried the ball 12 times for 61 yards, and caught one pass for an 11-yard touchdown. Alfred Blue, who has been the team's lead running back since Arian Foster suffered a season-ending injury in Week 7, saw just four carries for 14 yards.

Fantasy impact: It's been difficult to trust the Texans' backfield since Foster's injury. Even when Blue sees a decent amount of touches, he can't seem to do much. Blue is averaging 3.5 yards per carry and has just two rushing touchdowns on the season. Polk hasn't done much to set himself apart, averaging 3.6 yards per carry for the season. However, if the Texans are looking to shake things up and continue feeding the ball to Polk, then they have a favorable schedule ahead of them. Fantasy owners would have Polk facing the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans during their fantasy playoffs. Polk is worth a speculative add and could be a flex option during crunch time.
