Floyd Mayweather squares off with Manny Pacquiao on May 2, in what is set to be the biggest sporting event of 2015 and one of the biggest in recent memory. The event is expected to have the highest gate of the year, exceeding even Super Bowl XLIX, and finishing four times higher than the next-closest boxing gate ever.
FanDuel offering chance to win tickets to Mayweather-Pacquiao fight

The MGM Grand Garden Arena has a seating capacity of 16,500. Of that number, fewer than 1,000 tickets were made available to the general public. Prices ranged from $1,500 to $10,000, and yet it still sold out in 60 seconds. Fans can pay $150 to watch a closed circuit airing of the fight at other MGM properties, but otherwise most people will be left to pay $100 for the PPV.
Fortunately, there is one more option. FanDuel has joined on with Team Mayweather as a fight sponsor. FanDuel’s logo will appear on Mayweather’s trunks at the belt line, and Mayweather’s crew will wear The Money Team (Mayweather’s branded line)/FanDuel co-branded shirts through the weekend and the fight. Most importantly for fans, FanDuel has access to six ticket packages for the fight.
FanDuel will be giving away three sets of tickets through one-day contests on April 24, 26 and 27. The contests feature a $2 entry fee, with first place winning a trip for two to Las Vegas, including two tickets to the fight, a hotel room and $10,000 in cash. Additionally, if his schedule permits, the winners will have a chance to meet Mayweather before the fight.
The first contest will run on Fri., April 24, and cover baseball games that day. The second contest will run on Sun., April 26, and cover the NBA Playoffs that day. The third contest will run on Mon., April 27, and cover baseball games for that day. You can join the leagues HERE.
