Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow should make the cut and be on the team’s roster come Week 1, according to ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini. Tebow hasn’t been on an NFL roster in the regular season since 2012 when he was a member of the New York Jets.
Tim Tebow likely to make the cut, possible fantasy value to be had
Eagles’ quarterback Tim Tebow should make the team coming out of training camp. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Tebow is strapping up the pads just to get another chance at being in the league for the most part. Of course, with Coach Chip Kelly being considered one of the most creative and effective coaches at scheming together an offense, there could be opportunities throughout the year for Tebow to make an impact on the field. It likely will not be a sufficient basis alone to justify fantasy rostering.
Things can change in a quick hurry if the injury prone Sam Bradford finds himself on the sidelines at some point in the season. Then again, Tebow would still have to leapfrog Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley in order to realistically become a factor in Philly. Fantasy owners need not focus on Tebow at all for now, but it sounds like he’ll have a chance to continue his career barring a major preseason setback.
