Noise from New York Jets camp continues to emerge surrounding Chris Ivory, this time from beat reporter Rich Cimini, who predicts Ivory could see "about 20 touches per week."
Chris Ivory could see ‘20 touches per game’ for fantasy owners
A beat reporter of the New York Jets implies that running back Chris Ivory could be firmly in the RB2 conversation with considerable upside. We break down the fantasy implications.

This is a far cry from what was expected of the Jets backfield situation at the beginning of the summer, with Zac Stacy and Stevan Ridley being added to the mix. But thus far, Stacy has not impressed and Ridley continues to recover from an ACL injury, while Bilal Powell remains a candidate to handle passing duties.
Ivory is also in line to handle goal-line duties in addition to his work between the 20s. Cimini notes that Ivory could catch a few passes per game as well, due to quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick’s tendency to check down.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners are taking notice of Ivory’s every-down potential, as evidenced by his soaring average draft position that now sits in the fifth round. For owners who opt to use early round selections on wide receivers -- a common trend for 2015 drafts -- Ivory is a nice RB2 option to those lineups at that ADP.
