Latavius Murray draws praise from OC, fantasy potential remains high
The third-year speedster atop the Raiders’ backfield depth chart recently drew praise from his offensive coordinator. We break down the fantasy implications.

Not much has been said about the speedy running back this summer, so his coach’s praise is worth the attention. Murray remains in line to handle early-down duties with snaps in passing-down situations as well. With Trent Richardson failing to impress and Roy Helu injured, Murray remains atop the depth chart and could be in line for a big workload this year.
Fantasy Spin: Though valid concerns present themselves regarding a potentially uninspiring Raiders offense, Murray has potential to be one of the premier steals in fantasy drafts across the board. With electric speed and agility, Murray took advantage of his opportunities a season ago, though he did not get much playing time due to injury and the coaching staff’s reluctance to play him.
At a third-round ADP, owners could do much worse than gamble on Murray’s upside. The third-year back is squarely in the RB2 conversation.
