Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford let down a lot of fantasy owners in the past three seasons. Back in 2011, Stafford exploded for 5,038 passing yards and 41 scores. His numbers slid in a big way, though, and he finished with 4,257 passing yards and 22 scores in 16 games last season.
Matt Stafford could be a fantasy football bounce-back candidate
Matt Stafford was a letdown last year. Can fantasy owners look to scoop him up later in drafts?

Consequently, fantasy owners are shying away from drafting him. He’s coming off the board as the 10th quarterback drafted, which is justified based on the lack of production recently. However, things could be different in 2015.
ESPN's Michael Rothstein said Stafford "should be a guy to pay attention to" for a potential big season in 2015. Stafford has more weapons than he's had in years, between the addition of running back Ameer Abdullah, another year with Golden Tate at receiver, and tight end Eric Ebron having another year under his belt.
The Lions play in a dome and do have a guy named Calvin Johnson on the outside as one of the best red-zone threats in the NFL. Assuming he stays healthy, Stafford is definitely a solid target as QB7-9.
