Speaking on Monday, Indianapolis Colts head Coach Chuck Pagano confirmed wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is in the NFL's concussion protocol. Hilton suffered the concussion during the team's third preseason game on Saturday versus the St. Louis Rams.
T.Y. Hilton in NFL’s concussion protocol, remains top fantasy option
No timetable has been set for T.Y. Hilton’s return from a concussion suffered during the Colts’ preseason dress rehearsal. We break down the fantasy implications.

It's unclear how much time Hilton will miss, but he has 14 days to get ready for the Colts' season opener versus the Buffalo Bills. With the serious nature of concussions, and with the Colts having ample receiving depth for elite quarterback Andrew Luck to utilize, the team does not have any need to rush their No. 1 receiver back into action.
Fantasy Spin: Hilton remains a high-ceiling WR1 amid a pass-heavy offense and talent to flourish in it. It’s a situation for fantasy owners to monitor closely given the unpredictable nature of concussions. For now, there’s no reason for owners to panic, but due diligence must be executed in the meantime.
Hilton remains a bargain in the third round of standard leagues, and is once again a candidate to approach 1,200 yards and double-digit touchdowns.
