Terrance Williams caught just one pass in Saturday's preseason game, but it was an explosive 60-yard effort that led to a touchdown. Williams is no stranger to big plays, but they simply don't happen consistently. In 2014, Williams had 37 receptions for 621 yards and eight touchdowns. He failed to accumulate over 100 yards in a single game.
Fantasy football draft strategy: Terrance Williams offers great value
Terrance Williams can be yours at a minimal cost in most drafts. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

The Dallas Cowboys will be hoping for Williams to take the next step in 2015. While they still have a strong offensive line, they don't have anywhere near the level of talent in their backfield that we saw from DeMarco Murray in 2014. Williams will need to support Dez Bryant and the rest of the team's receivers if the Cowboys hope to maintain a strong balance with their offensive approach.
Fantasy impact: Williams is trending as a perennial fantasy disappointment for the most part. He simply doesn’t see consistent targets from quarterback Tony Romo. As of now, fantasy owners are left with a viable streaming option at wide receiver, but if there is any year that Williams is going to break through that reputation, this is the year. Williams is barely being drafted among the top-50 wide receivers in fantasy right now. He’s a low-risk option well after the 10th round of most fantasy drafts. Even a slight uptick in targets could warrant WR3 consideration, and there’s plenty of upside to be had. Take advantage of his draft value if you can.
