Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker was practicing on Monday for the first time this training camp. Parker continues to get limited reps, but the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are “quietly hopeful” he will be ready for the Week 1 season opener.
DeVante Parker practicing on Monday, worth stashing in fantasy leagues
DeVante Parker is getting limited practice on Monday and remains on track for Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Parker has been out of action since having surgery in June to replace a screw in his foot. The Dolphins are being cautious with their first-round pick, who has yet to play a preseason game and could be on a snap count to begin the regular season. Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings and Kenny Stills are currently penciled in as Miami’s top three receivers.
Fantasy impact: Parker continues to make steady progress, but it’s unlikely he’ll make much of a fantasy impact in September. Beyond the injury, Parker missed a ton of crucial training camp time and the team might not trust him with a starting job yet.
Having said that, Parker is one of the most talented receivers in this year’s draft class and the door is open for him to make a big contribution in the second half. Parker can be stashed on fantasy benches in 12- and 14-team leagues until he’s 100 percent and has the playbook down.
