It was announced earlier in the week that Miami Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker would be available for limited action in Week 1, but that appears to have changed—for the better.
DeVante Parker turning heads in practice, inching closer to fantasy starting lineups
The Dolphins’ No. 1 draft pick may contribute sooner than expected in 2015. We break down the fantasy implications.

According to beat writer Armando Salguero, Parker has looked progressively better in each Dolphins practice this week, and could now be used as a legitimate weapon versus Washington. Parker underwent foot surgery in the offseason and the Dolphins have been in no rush to work him back, although Parker seems to be forcing their hand to get him into game action.
Fantasy Spin: Those who drafted Parker have to be thrilled with this news, although there is still enough reason to keep him benched despite the juicy matchup looming. Though Parker remains a legitimate talent, questions of how much he will be used still remain, especially amid a receiving corps that is one of the NFL’s deepest.
Parker’s owners were already in the mindset that his contributions wouldn’t come until later in the season, so Week 1 should be used as a barometer of his future usage. He remains a stash in leagues of 10 and 12 teams.
