Things are a little different for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford. He's got some new weapons, a much better offensive line, and most importantly he's got a new coach with a new system.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Sam Bradford
Sam Bradford has a new team and could start fast. We break down the fantasy implications.
Coach Chip Kelly's offensive scheme is going to allow the Eagles to run at a faster pace and likely produce more yards. He loves to stretch the field and even turned quarterback Nick Foles into a viable fantasy starter some weeks. Bradford's arm strength looked terrific in the preseason, especially in his Week 3 performance when he completed all 10 of his passes.
The Eagles will take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. Las Vegas projects this to be the highest-scoring game of Week 1 with the Eagles expected to get the win. Plus, Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews has looked magnificent at camp.
Fantasy impact: You probably drafted Bradford to be your No. 1 or he’s backing up a low-end QB1 for you. This is probably the perfect opportunity to play Bradford -- he’s healthy and has a great matchup. Unless you have a stud, Bradford should be considered as a top 8-10 QB this week.
