Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright was drafted in later rounds by fantasy owners, who are expecting a bounce back in 2015.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 1: Kendall Wright
The wideout has a favorable matchup right out of the gate in 2015. We break down the fantasy implications.
Still just one year removed from a 94-catch season for 1,079 yards, Wright remains in a favorable situation as the start of the 2015 season looms. With rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota at the helm, Wright has a talented signal-caller who can provide an instant upgrade to the offense, and give his No. 1 receiver more catchable targets if preseason was any indication of what is to come.
Fantasy Spin: Against what looks like an improved Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, Wright has the tools to present a mismatch against the likes of Johnathan Banks and Alterraun Verner. The Buccaneers are coming off of a season where they allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts, and if anyone on the Titans were to take advantage of that, it's Wright.
Because of the depth of the position, fantasy owners shouldn’t look to Wright as anything more than a WR3 or flex option, but upside to capitalize remains.
