New York Giants wide receiver Rueben Randle has been the epitome of inconsistency throughout his first three seasons. Some games he'd show up to play, others he made a bone-headed mistake that landed him in head coach Tom Coughlin's dog house. While the inconsistency theme plagues his third year, he looked as if the light had finally come on in the last two games of the season where he followed on his Week 16 line of 6/132/1 to finish the season on another high note of 6/158.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 1: Rueben Randle
The Giants receiver came on at the end of last season. What should fantasy owners expect in Week 1?
Fantasy Impact: While a healthy Victor Cruz would have surely cut into his targets, Cruz is dealing with a mysterious calf injury and currently has no time table for return. This leaves Randle in the same cushy spot as last year, where he could take advantage of lots of single coverage due to defenses doubling Odell Beckham Jr. Randle figures to see plenty of targets when the Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys this week in what figures to be a high-scoring affair. Factoring in Dallas' unintimidating secondary, Randle is a sneaky WR3 with upside for more.
