Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown quietly turned in a respectable rookie campaign. The third-round pick finished the year with 48 receptions for 696 yards and five touchdowns. His opportunities were somewhat limited playing behind Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd, but Brown still managed to turn heads and make plays whenever he got the ball. Despite Floyd's dislocated fingers that leave him as a likely game-time decision, the head coach Bruce Arians would be wise to find one way or another to get the ball to his explosive receiver.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 1: John Brown
The Cardinals receiver should have an increased role. What should fantasy owners expect in Week 1?
Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals have a juicy matchup in the New Orleans Saints, whose defense came in at 27th in preseason rankings. Regardless of whether Floyd suits up, owners should not consider benching Brown this week. After developing noticeable chemistry with quarterback Carson Palmer and bulking up to 189 pounds (up 10 pounds from last year), Brown should be fired up as a WR3 with upside for more if Floyd is ruled out.
