LeSean McCoy expected to handle bulk of workload Week 1, Bills RB primed for fantasy owners
LeSean McCoy may not be 100 percent, but he’ll have his work cut out for him Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor will make his first start with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Aside from establishing the run, Taylor will likely rely on McCoy out of the backfield as a receiver as he Taylor settles into his role with high-percentage passes. Hamstring injuries tend to linger, so it will be interesting to see how well McCoy plays through it. The Bills certainly need McCoy, as they departed ways with long-time veteran Fred Jackson in August.
Fantasy impact: Even though hamstring injuries can weigh on fantasy owners, the fact that Buffalo has no qualms giving McCoy nearly a full workload is promising. As soon as McCoy can put his injury behind him, fantasy owners can focus on the bigger picture: How well McCoy can perform on a new team and offense. McCoy is a low-end RB1 for Week 1.
