Michael Floyd may still be a game-time decision on Sunday, but there is growing optimism that he will play for the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport took to Twitter to say that Floyd is "poised to play" in Sunday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Floyd is a month removed from dislocating three of his fingers.
Michael Floyd injury update: Cardinals WR closer to playing for fantasy owners Week 1
Optimism is growing for Michael Floyd’s Week 1 status. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Floyd's presence would be a welcomed one for the Cardinals. He'll be another target for quarterback Carson Palmer, who was recovering from an ACL injury for the majority of the 2014 season.
Fantasy impact: Floyd hasn't proven to be a consistent target for Palmer. Even if he plays, he's more of a WR4 than anything else. The upside is certainly there. He'll be competing for targets with Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown, both of whom have been available more this offseason as Palmer acclimates himself on the field again. Floyd is always capable of big plays. The Saints had difficulty pressuring the quarterback in 2014. If Palmer can find time in the pocket all afternoon, Floyd should have a decent outing.
