The Miami Dolphins came away with a win on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't pretty. The passing game was pedestrian against a struggling Washington defense. The run game wasn't much of a factor either. Lamar Miller saw just 13 carries. He finished the game with 55 yards and no score. He added one catch for 22 yards to his day. Damien Williams was the only other running back that saw a carry. He had just one carry and was unable to get any yardage.
Lamar Miller has quiet Week 1, fantasy owners hope for Week 2 rebound
Lamar Miller wasn’t a big factor for the Dolphins’ offense in Week 1. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Miller's 13 carries were just shy of his average in 2014 (13.5). Considering that the Dolphins never lost their lead in the second half of the game, his limited usage came as a bit of a surprise. The Dolphins will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
Fantasy impact: Miller’s start to the season is a bit concerning. There was plenty of indication that he would be used more in the game plan. In 2014, Miller never saw more than 19 carries in a game. Still, it’s only one week and Miller should be treated as an RB2 with upside moving forward. He has a favorable match up against Jacksonville, but there’s no denying Washington was a missed opportunity for Miami’s run game.
