There were a lot of impressive performances from the Tennessee Titans offense in Week 1. Quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 13 of 16 passes for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Kendall Wright caught four passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. Running back Bishop Sankey received little commitment from the coaching staff heading into Sunday's game, but that may change moving forward. Sankey rushed 12 times for 74 yards and a touchdown. He caught two passes for 12 yards and another score.
Bishop Sankey finds end zone twice, last chance for fantasy owners to claim on waivers
Bishop Sankey was among the many Titans players that impressed. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Terrance West, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns after the loss of rookie David Cobb, saw 13 carries. However, West rushed for just 41 yards and lost a fumble. Whether the Titans commit to a lead running back moving forward, it's clear that Sankey was the more effective option.
Fantasy impact: Heading into the season, Sankey was part of an ambiguous backfield. Coach Ken Whisenhunt simply wouldn’t commit to a lead back. Whisenhunt’s approach may not change, but Sankey clearly deserves more opportunities than West at this point. It’s understandable that half of fantasy leagues have Sankey on their waiver wire, but that should change heading into Week 2. Sankey is still more of a flex option due to the Titans’ unpredictable backfield, but he’s a more viable fantasy option than he was heading into the season. Grab him if you need help at the position.
