DeAngelo Williams essentially has one remaining week left to do something for the Pittsburgh Steelers. So far, he's been a surprisingly strong performer. On Thursday, Williams carried the ball 21 times for 127 yards. He added one catch for five yards to his evening. Prior to Thursday's performance, Williams hadn't eclipsed 100 yards rushing since Week 3 of the 2013 season. He's benefiting from the volume-heavy run game in Pittsburgh. He's also benefiting from strong quarterback play and an elite receiver keeping defenses honest. It will all go away when Le'Veon Bell returns. Still, Williams has one more big opportunity at home against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.
DeAngelo Williams can be had on your waiver wire for 1 more week
DeAngelo Williams may be the best running back available on your waiver wire, at least for one week. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Williams’ impact will be short-lived. There’s no other way around it. We know this. You know this. Still, he’s one of the better RB2 options for Week 2, and he’s arguably the best running back option on your waiver wire. Williams is owned in less than 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues. He’s a great rental for anyone decimated by injuries or rough starts at the running back position.
