Andre Ellington's PCL sprain suffered in Week 1 is reportedly going to sideline him 2-3 weeks. The report comes from ESPN's Josina Anderson. Ellington was carted off in the fourth quarter on Sunday after rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. He also caught one pass for seven yards.
Andre Ellington injury update: Cardinals RB will cost fantasy owners 2-3 weeks
Andre Ellington has been given a timetable of 2-3 weeks before returning to action. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

In his absence, running backs Chris Johnson and David Johnson will have an increased workload. Chris Johnson ran for 37 yards on 10 carries in Sunday's game. David Johnson didn't see any carries but caught one pass for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy impact: All things considered, Ellington owners should be a bit relieved. A PCL injury can lead to a much longer recovery time, but the severity of Ellington's seems to be minor, relatively speaking. Chris Johnson is expected to lead the Cardinals in touches out of the backfield during Ellington's absence. David Johnson has some upside in a limited role. Chris Johnson will be one of the better flex options out there. He needs to prove he can deliver some big plays before being declared an every-week starter in fantasy.
