Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith couldn't have started his 2015 season any better, after lighting up the Houston Texans for three touchdown passes.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Alex Smith
The Chiefs’ veteran signal caller had a fabulous start to the season. Will it carry over into Week 2? We break down the fantasy implications.

This week, however, he may have an even bigger challenge at hand when he faces their formidable division rival in the Denver Broncos. Denver's defensive unit held Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens to 117 passing yards and picked him off twice, allowing no touchdowns on offense to be scored.
Fantasy Spin: Smith won't likely sail as smoothly as he did in Week 1, where he effortlessly found Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce for huge chunks of yardage amid a porous Texans secondary. That doesn't mean there's no room for success this week, as his supporting cast would be difficult for any defense to contain.
Because quarterback is such a deep position, Smith is not an advisable start versus such a stout defense in Week 2. Fantasy owners should keep the efficient quarterback on their benches and save him for the favorable matchups he has coming up in Week 3 versus the Green Bay Packers and Week 5 versus the Chicago Bears. For Week 2, Smith can be considered a high-end QB2.
