The Denver Broncos have released their inactives for Week 2, and running back C.J. Anderson is active for Thursday Night Football. He was listed as questionable with toe and ankle issues. He sat out Monday’s practice, and then worked limited sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
C.J. Anderson active, still some questions for fantasy football owners
The Denver Broncos declared C.J Anderson active. His status is downgraded for fantasy football owners, but you should still have him in your lineup.

Reports have varied on his status throughout Thursday, with the latest from Adam Schefter saying he would start the game. While Anderson will play, there is still a question as to his workload. Ronnie Hillman split carries with him in Week 1, and the Denver Post reported earlier on Thursday there could be a timeshare in the works against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy impact: Well, this is kind of a mess. SB Nation views Anderson firmly in RB2 territory right now. Many people drafted him to be their top running back, but for now his status is slightly downgraded. That being said, he faces a Chiefs defense that gave up 4.7 yards per carry to the Texans. The Broncos offense was not particularly exciting in Week 1, but the potential remains significant. Barring an incredibly deep bench, you should have him in your lineup.
