It seems like fantasy owners have been ready to write off Antonio Gates for quite some time now. It's not that there isn't love for the future Hall of Famer, it's that fantasy owners don't want to be caught investing in him when the wheels finally fall off.
Fantasy football sleepers 2015: Antonio Gates still not getting the respect he deserves
The mainstay for the San Diego Chargers refused to go quietly in 2014, and can still be had at a bargain a year later. We break down the fantasy implications.

Many thought that would happen in 2014, but Gates responded by outscoring every tight end not named Rob Gronkowski. His 12 touchdowns, 821 yards and 69 catches helped his fantasy owners get production from a position that was barren as a whole.
Fantasy Spin: Gates will serve a four-game suspension at the beginning of the season, and that has helped tumble his draft stock all the way down to the 13th round. Even with a shortened season, Gates can more than outperform that draft position, especially given how shallow the tight end pool is in 2015.
A 13th-round pick is a steal for a tight end who is still a force to be reckoned with near the goal line, and fantasy owners could do far worse than selecting Gates sooner than what his ADP indicates.
