Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb (shoulder) is listed as probable and will play in the team's Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Cobb was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday but his availability was never in doubt.
Randall Cobb injury update: WR probable, will play for fantasy owners
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is listed as probable for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Spin: Cobb will suit up and is not expected to be on any type of snap count. However, his situation isn't quite as ideal as fantasy owners would like. He's still not quite 100 percent healthy and is likely to be shadowed by All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman. Seattle's secondary is still without All-Pro safety Kam Chancellor. But as quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top (and most-proven) receiving option, Cobb is sure to get plenty of attention all afternoon. He finished Week 1 with a 5/38/1 line against the Chicago Bears. While he remains a WR1 this week, owners in standard leagues would be wise to brace themselves for the very real possibility of another sub-10 point performance.
