Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker (wrist) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 2 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Walker did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday before getting in a full practice on Friday. Despite the full practice, his sprained wrist ligament is still a major concern and he could easily miss Sunday's game.
Delanie Walker injury update: TE questionable, risky play for fantasy owners
Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker is listed as questionable for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Spin: Even if Walker does suit up, he wouldn’t be a great bet to outproduce his Week 1 performance of 3/43/1. The Browns don’t present a particularly intimidating matchup for tight ends but that won’t do Walker much good if he’s active on a limited snap count. Walker did prove himself as a steady and reliable TE2 last year when he set career highs in receptions (63) and yards (890) and recorded the first two 100-yard receiving games of his nine-year career. Considering the uncertainty surrounding Walker, owners without a viable backup would be better served scouring the waiver wire for a TE streamer than relying on Walker this week.
