St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley (knee) is listed as questionable for the team’s Week 2 matchup against Washington. Gurley was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Despite the full participation, the Rams are likely to continue to exercise extreme caution with their prized first-round pick. Even if Gurley does suit up, he’s not likely to see a serviceable role for fantasy owners in his debut.
Todd Gurley injury update: RB questionable, game-time decision for fantasy owners
St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley is questionable for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Spin: With Gurley slated for limited work at best, the question then becomes whether Tre Mason will suit up. Mason is listed as questionable but was also a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Assuming Mason does play, he’d be a good bet to see somewhere between the 15-20 carries that spot starter Benny Cunningham saw last week against the Seattle Seahawks. That load also included seven targets that he turned into four receptions for 77 yards. Assuming Gurley doesn’t get much work if active, Mason will be in the RB2 conversation.
