Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is officially active for Week 2’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Early reports on Sunday morning indicated he would likely play, and the Buccaneers have confirmed their No. 1 wide receiver will be out there this afternoon.
Mike Evans injury update: Bucs WR will make fantasy debut in Week 2
Tampa gets its top wide receiver back for Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Buccaneers offense struggled to start the year, with rookie Jameis Winston completing under 50 percent of his passes in a Week 1 loss. The addition of Evans will be a huge boost for the entire regime.
Fantasy impact: Throw in a 6’5 vertical threat, and the Bucs offense is instantly upgraded. Evans said earlier this week that his hamstring is 100 percent. While players are normally confident about their status, we can probably trust Evans after he’s had ample time to rest.
The Buccaneers take on a weak Saints secondary in Week 2, which Carson Palmer threw three touchdowns against to open the season. Evans’ upside makes him a great tournament play in DFS. His ownership will likely still be low.
