Washington secured some help in Week 2, as DeSean Jackson remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Tight end Jordan Reed was officially declared active for Sunday's match up against the St. Louis Rams. Reed was dealing with a quad injury all week, and was listed as "questionable" heading into Week 2. Reed posted a 7-63-1 stat line against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. He and Pierre Garcon will likely carry the workload in the receiving game until Jackson returns. Wide receiver Ryan Grant is slated to fill in for Jackson's role in the meantime.
Jordan Reed injury update: Washington TE is active Week 2, should see plenty of targets for fantasy owners
Jordan Reed is suiting up for Washington in Week 2. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Heading into the regular season, Reed was relatively overlooked in a lot of leagues. Reed typically finds his way onto the team’s injury report each week. Also, Washington was painted as a dysfunctional offense throughout most of the offseason. In Week 1, Reed reminded fantasy owners that he’s a TE1 option when healthy. With Jackson unable to play, Reed has even more upside. If you own Reed in any fantasy format, and you have the room to start him in your lineup, make it happen in Week 2.
